Italian salad with Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
Ingredients:
Aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
Small salad
Fresh celery
(Chili pepper)
Tuscan bread
Extra virgin olive oil
Salt
Aemilia Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena D.O.P.
Preparation:
Let's prepare the salad by placing it in a bowl, then shave some aged Parmigiano Reggiano cheese over it and add the sliced celery. (Add the chili pepper). Now, let's season it in the correct order: salt, "Balsamico," and mix well to ensure the "Balsamico" is evenly distributed on all salad components. After that do we add the extra virgin olive oil and mix everything again to coat it. If done correctly, this procedure allows each leaf of salad to have the characteristic flavor of "Balsamico".
Finally, serve with toasted Tuscan bread croutons.
